My daughter had previously ate sushi with her boyfriend here at Sushi Laguna and love it! Dinner was great! Hubby and daughter loved the sushi. I really enjoyed the shrimp fried rice! Salad and shrimp Shu-mai. Dog friendly. Street party. Have to feed the meter until 7pm.

My husband and I were walking around Laguna Beach and decided we were hungry. I took a quick glance at the menu before moving on down the street. We doubled back and asked for a table. The prices seemed reasonable which is why we decided to stop in for a bite. My husband didn't pay too much attention to the menu but as he was looking at it I pointed to the sushi appetizer for $15, consisting of nigiri. It was exactly what he wanted. I opted for the sushi combo for $21, which was basically the sushi appetizer with some California rolls. They offer fresh wasabi for $3.50 which we also ordered. Not too many places offer the real deal wasabi. The service was great. The sushi was fresh and tasty. I know we ordered basic sushi but it was good and it by the beach. You can't really beat that.
I'm so sad to see this closure. Please please please we need the Maui Roll Recipe. Please pass that along to another local sushi spot so that they can live on with Sushi Laguna's legacy.
